-EDIT-
Hurricane ended up doing next to no damage to my neighborhood. Daily Doodles will still be submitted under scraps.
-EDIT-
I'm not sure if anyone even really follows my stupid little "Daily Doodle" thing, but I'm gonna post this anyway to inform you imaginary strangers that I won't be able to upload for today, tomorrow, and possibly the next day as well.
Hurricane Irene is closing in on New York City and I live right between Zone A, the mandatory evacuation zone, and Zone C, a zone that may or may not flood. Yeah, it's kinda weird that I'm living on a street separated by two very different hurricane zones, but to the point, my building will be shutting down the water and electricity, so I won't have any internet connection, among other things.
I'll try to upload them all as soon as the power gets turned back on, but there's an issue I've been meaning to address for a while now. Constantly switching the doodles from a regular doodle to the scraps don't seem to be the best thing to do on deviantART, it seems to be messing up my deviation counter. I originally did this so that people would be able to see my doodles when I upload them, and then so I could just move them to the shadows of my gallery since I didn't actually consider them full-fledged pieces. I only wanted them to be seen so that I would have a spotlight on me to add some consequence if I ever missed a day.
Seeing as how they're starting to mess my gallery up a bit, I'll be uploading them directly to the scraps. If anyone gives any kinda shit about that, then they should probably turn "Scraps" on in the watchers thingy.
Anyway, back to the hurricane, because that's kinda important.
Well I've already said most of what I wanted to say. I guess having all of these things turned off might actually get me to focus on the comic for a bit. I'm pretty sure I'm in very little danger- my neighborhood doesn't look like a place that can be overtaken by water, but then again I live on the 14th floor and only a short walk away from the river.
If you are in a dangerous hurricane zone, please try to stay safe. I'll be drawing.
